1. The second image i took is different than a simple ID photograph because it focuses on the flower and not Josie's face. The color is spreading throughout the image from the flower, different than normal photographs. This photo focused on the warmth coming from the flower. instead of her face like in a normal portrait. 2. I used natural light, studio light, and front light. 3. The photos create a feeling of warmth and comfort. The light is soft and not very strong. Focusing on picture two, the mood is happy and gentle. Josie has a soft smile which creates the mood, and the lighting is very gentle and warm. 4. In pictures 1 and 3 i could possibly have made them sit in different positions and not just straight forward, and maybe holding a flower or other happy objects.
Double Exposure
1. I decided to combine these two images of Brady holding a baseball and Josie holding a softball because it shows the tension between the two sports and between both genders, along with the smilarities of the sports. 2. A serious mood is created between is conveyed by the combination of these images. 3. I think the part where both the baseball and the softball overlap is successful because they both land in the same part of the image and their hands line up perfectly. It shows the different sizes of both. 4. If i were the touch-up a part of my image, i would fix the part where Josie and Brady's faces overlap and maybe fade Josie's face away a tiny bit, and make Brady's face more visible.
